Resident Hospitalized From Oceanside House Fire: Police
It happened just before 11 a.m. on Sunday.

OCEANSIDE, NY — An Oceanside house was badly damaged by fire on Sunday morning. One resident of the home on Fortesque Avenue was taken to a nearby hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning, police said.
The Oceanside Fire Department extinguished the blaze. The Nassau County Fire Marshal was also on the scene. It is not considered a suspicious fire, police said.
