Residents Question Recent Proud Boys Return To Rockville Centre

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — While Rockville Centre officials, led by Mayor Francis Murray, criticized the recent march of the far-right group Proud Boys in the village, some residents are distressed by the second march since the fall.

"Why do they keep coming back?" Meredith Walker asked News 12.

Murray's statement said in part that Rockville Centre is made up of "law-abiding residents who will not allow divisive rhetoric of any kind to divide us. Such demonstrations are designed to provoke confrontation and publicity."
