The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending May 13.
Attempted Burglary
- On May 8 at 8:02 p.m., a Princeton Road resident reported someone tried to enter his home through a rear sliding glass door.

- On May 6 at 7:05 p.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while he was driving on N. Centre Avenue.
- On May 7 at 7:28 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked in a lot on Hempstead Avenue.
- On May 11 at 2:32 p.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while he was parking in a parking lot on N. Village Avenue.
Harassment
- On May 8 at 1:40 p.m., an employee of a restaurant on Merrick Road reported he has been receiving threatening telephone calls.

- On May 8 at 4:40 p.m., an Old Mill Court resident reported an acquaintance broke her apartment window.
Arrests
- On May 7 at 9:44 a.m., Ikeem McCord, 30, of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic offenses after police say he was observed operating a vehicle on N. Village Avenue.
- On May 12 at 10:50 p.m., Viry Barrera, 19, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with DWI and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after police say she was observed operating a vehicle on Hempstead Avenue.
