Rockville Centre 5K And Fun Run Set For This Weekend

The annual Rockville Centre 5K and Family Fun Run is set for Saturday, Nov. 10, rain or shine.

The 1 Mile Family Fun Run starts first at 8:30 a.m. sharp, followed by the 5K at 9:30 a.m. The Fun Run starts on Front Street, at the rear of the LIRR station, and the 5K also starts on Front Street, but between North Village Avenue and Centre Avenue.

Registration for the Fun Run is $10, and the 5K is $30. Registration is still available online by clicking here. You can also register before the start of the race.

The race will be timed, and there will be awards given out for multiple age categories. No baby joggers, strollers, bicycles, skates, rollerblades and pets are allowed in the races.
