Arrests

On march 20 at 2:36 p.m., Wenping Zheng, 40, of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Lakeview Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 20 at 5:04 p.m., Nichole J. Simmon, 44, of 170th Street, Jamaica, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Windsor Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 25 at 7:03 p.m., Nicholas F. Bruno, 22, of Westside Avenue, Freeport, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of S. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 25 at 6:35 p.m., Kevin C. Absalom, 29, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Bay Shore, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and urinating in public following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 25 at 7:49 p.m., Cristian P. Sanchez, 26, of West Merrick Road, Freeport was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 25 at 10:12 p.m., Joseph R. Ruscillo, 20, of Dolores Place, Malverne, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and a bench warrant for trespassing following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 26 at 5:21 a.m., Carol L. Keane, 43, of W. Olive Street, Long Beach, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 2 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

Larcenies

On March 20 at 7:05 p.m., a complainant from N. Forest Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that someone stole a RC resident parking permit sticker from a 2010 Volvo parked in Municipal Parking Field 5, Rockville Centre.

On March 21 at 1:58 p.m., a complainant reported that a dealer license plate was missing from Karp Volvo, 400 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

On March 21 at 11:47 a.m., a complainant from St. Luke’s Place, Baldwin, reported that a NYS handicapped parking permit was stolen from a 2016 BMW parked at Associated Supermarket, 160 N. Long Beach Road, Rockville Centre.

Unusual Incident

On March 20 at 3:10 p.m., a resident from Hamilton Road, Rockville Centre, reported that someone opened a Time Warner cable account using his personal information without authorization.

On March 21 at 3:54 p.m., a complainant from Woodward Avenue, Oceanside, reported that someone sent a fraudulent check for $2,400 to Creative Child, located at 209 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, purportedly to purchase a Dexter surfboard advertised on Craigslist for $1,100.

On March 22 at 7:40 p.m., a resident from Merrick Road, Rockville Centre, reported that someone damaged a window and entered her apartment without permission; there was no reported loss at the time of report.

Criminal Mischief

On March 21 at 8:15 p.m., a complainant from Uniondale Avenue, Uniondale, reported that someone damaged a point of sale system valued at $1,557 at Gyros and Heros, 1A N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Property Damage

On March 21 at 9:53 p.m., a resident from Driscoll Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that the passenger side to a 2016 Kia was damaged while parked at Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On March 26 at 11 a.m., a complainant from Homan Place, Baldwin reported that a window located at The UPS Store, 265 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, was damaged.
