Arrest
On April 26 at 2:06 a.m., Benjamin L. Akerman, 24, of Marvin Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested for third-degree criminal mischief following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of S. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On April 25 at 7:22 p.m., a complainant from Cleveland Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that someone stole a wallet containing cash, gift cards and credit cards from an unlocked Toyota motor vehicle parked in Municipal Parking Field 2; subsequently it was discovered that unauthorized transactions were made against credit and debit accounts.
On April 28 at 8:03 a.m., a complainant from Huntington Station reported that someone removed a RC parking permit sticker from a 2016 Jeep parked in the vicinity of 100 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.

On April 28 at 8:35 a.m., a complainant from Old Bethpage reported that someone removed a RC parking permit sticker from a 2013 Nissan motor vehicle parked in the vicinity of 100 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.
On April 30 at 10:36 p.m., a complainant from Freeport reported that someone stole a Samsung Galaxy cell phone valued at $850 while at Parlay Gastropub, located at 210 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.
Unusual Incident
On April 25 at 5 p.m., a complainant from Raymond Street, Rockville Centre, reported that someone attempted to open a Zales credit card, a Macy's credit card, a Home depot credit card and a KeyBank checking account using personal information without permission.
On April 26 at 4:26 p.m., a complainant from Lakeview Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that someone opened four Discover card accounts using his personal information and made unauthorized transactions totaling $11,920.
On April 27 at 1:11 p.m., a complainant from Coram reported finding animal bones while doing construction at Maple Avenue and Powell Avenue, Rockville Centre.
Criminal Mischief
On April 24 at 9:41 p.m., a complainant from Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre, reported that someone damaged a screen door to the residence.
Graffiti
On April 27 at 11:27 a.m., a complainant from Irving Place, Rockville Centre, reported finding graffiti on a light pole in the parking lot of Temple B’Nai Sholom, 100 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre.
Harassment
On April 24 at 9:30 a.m., a complainant from Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre, reported that she was harassed by her granddaughter’s father’s girlfriend while at her residence.
On April 25 at 6:01 p.m., a complainant from Shepherd Street, Rockville Centre, reported that an acquaintance from Glen Head threatened her, causing annoyance and alarm.
