Arrests

On June 9 at 10:59 a.m., Terry W. McCrimmon, 51, of Redfern Avenue, Far Rockaway, was arrested for two warrants following an auto accident investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 77 N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On June 9 at 1:26 p.m., Randy White, 33, of Jerusalem Avenue, Hempstead, was arrested for two bench warrants following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Hempstead Avenue and DeMott Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On June 9 at 2:50 p.m., Wayne M. Clark, 34, of Jackson Street, Hempstead was arrested for third-degree criminal trespassing following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of the LIRR tracks, Rockville Centre.

On June 11 at 11:05 p.m., Austin D. Akner, 24, of Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre.

Unusual Incidents

On June 6 at 4:50 p.m., a Vernon Avenue resident reported an unauthorized withdrawal from his savings account.

On June 7 at 2:15 p.m., a complainant from Thomas Road, Rockville Centre reported that someone opened a Discover account using her personal information and made withdrawals against two personal accounts without authorization.

Forgery

On June 7 at 9:03 a.m., a complainant from Lexus of Rockville Centre, located at 700 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, reported that someone attempted to cash four forged checks against a Capital One business checking account.

Criminal Mischief

On June 6 at 8:10 p.m., a motorist reported his vehicle window was broken while it was parked on Clinton Avenue.

On June 7 at 11:06 a.m., a complainant from Bulson Road, Rockville Centre, reported that a rear door lock to the home was damaged by unknown means.

Assault

On June 11 at 7:45 p.m., a complainant from N. Centre Avenue reported that at 2 a.m. he was assaulted while in front of Cannon’s Blackthorn 49 N. Village Avenue.

Larceny

On June 10 at 12:47 p.m., a complainant from Brower Avenue reported that her wallet was stolen from a 2014 Honda while parked in front of the post office.

On June 10 at 10:33 p.m., a complainant from Lynbrook reported that her unattended Apple iPhone was stolen while at Kasey’s, located at 23 N. Park Avenue.

Property Damage

On June 10 at 8:14 p.m., a complainant from South Hempstead reported that her 2014 GMC was damaged while valet parked in Municipal Parking Field 7.

On June 12 at 2:27 a.m., a complainant from Cedar Avenue reported that a front window was damaged by unknown means.

Harassment

On June 5 at 6:52 p.m., a complainant from Roosevelt reported that she was harassed by an aunt from Jamaica while at Mercy Medical Center, located at 1000 N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On June 11 at 10:17 p.m., two unknown males entered Vulcano, located at 43 N. Village Avenue, and harassed the owner.

Juvenile

On June 8 at 4:43 p.m., a complainant from Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre reported exchanging intimate photos with an acquaintance who shared them with others.

On June 9 at 10:29 a.m., a South Side High School student reported exchanging intimate photos with an acquaintance who shared them with others.

On June 11 at 8 p.m., a 13-year-old complainant from Harvard Avenue reported that an unknown male operating a white SUV in the vicinity of Hewitt School caused her alarm.

Outside Jurisdiction (Robbery)

On June 6 at 8:38 p.m., three pedestrians reported being pepper sprayed by two acquaintances and two strangers at the LIRR station. A cell phone was stolen from one of the victims. MTA Police units responded to the scene for report and investigation.
