Arrest

On Dec. 7 at 1:35 p.m., Alice Joyner, 64, of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Chase Bank, located at 10 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre.

Larceny

On Dec. 7 at 5:24 p.m., a store owner reported that someone stole $80 in cash and credit cards from a purse located at 232 Merrick Road, Rockville Centre

On Dec. 7 at 4:34 p.m., a clerk at Illuminations, located at 251 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, reported that someone stole a wallet containing $550 cash and personal paperwork.

On Dec. 7 at 8:43 a.m., a service director from Lexus, located at 700 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre, reported that someone stole tires and rims valued at $4,162.34 and $3,915.46 from two cars.

On Dec. 11 at 12:55 a.m., a woman from Walton Street, Brentwood, reported that someone stole a pocketbook containing driver license, credit cards and $200 cash while at 100 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre.

On Dec. 11 at 9:38 p.m., a person from West Oak Street, Farmingdale, reported that someone stole a cell phone valued at $600 while they were at at Cannon’s Blackthorn, located at 49 N. Village Ave., Rockville Centre.

Criminal Mischief

On Dec. 11 at 8:14 a.m., a homeowner from Cedar Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that someone damaged Christmas decorations on their front lawn.

On Dec. 11 at 12:02 p.m., a complainant from Hewlett Point Avenue, East Rockaway reported that someone damaged the passenger-side mirror to a 2016 Acura motor vehicle parked in the vicinity of 50 Banks Ave., Rockville Centre.

Village Code Violation

On Dec. 8 at 8:15 p.m., police personnel issued an appearance ticket to a valet for a village code violation for a Free Standing Sign in Roadway while in the vicinity of 13 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre.
