Arrests

On July 31 at 3:52 p.m., Aliyah K. Merchant, 25, of Freeport, was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Merrick Road.

On Aug. 2 at 4:37 p.m., Grant Koerner, 46, of Northport, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and vehicle and traffic law violations in the vicinity of Merrick Road.

On Aug. 5 at 9:10 p.m., Perry M. Cornelia, 56, of Rockville Centre was arrested for disorderly conduct following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Princeton Road.

On Aug. 7 at 2:16 a.m., Gregory Faustin, 31, of Freeport, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Lakeview Avenue.

On Aug. 7 at 3:20 a.m., Carlyle B. Thompson, 22, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for disorderly conduct following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue.

Assault

On July 31 at 5:07 p.m., a complainant from Hempstead reported that she was assaulted by an acquaintance while at the Masonic Temple on Lincoln Avenue.

Criminal Contempt

On Aug. 5 at 4:07 p.m., a complainant from Merrick Road reported that an acquaintance violated an order of protection.

Unusual Incidents

On July 31 at 10:05 p.m., a complainant from Kent Court reported that she discovered an unauthorized charge for $10.996.38 on her Bloomingdale’s credit card account.

On Aug. 5 at 12:17 p.m., a complainant from Knollwood Road reported that she sent an unknown caller $8,000 under false pretenses.

On Aug. 6 at 8:30 p.m., a complainant from Park Lane reported that his phone number and personal email were being used without authorization.

Harassment

On Aug. 4 at 12:34 p.m., a complainant from Oceanside reported that he was receiving harassing phone calls while at his Sunrise Highway business.

On Aug. 5 at 11:02 p.m., a complainant from Raymond Street reported receiving a threatening text message from an acquaintance.

Larceny

On Aug. 5, a complainant from Marvin Avenue reported that two FedEx deliveries were stolen.

On Aug. 5 at 7:05 p.m., a complainant from Hempstead Avenue reported that a Trek bicycle was stolen from an open garage.

On Aug. 5 at 11:50 a.m., a complainant from West Hempstead reported that a book bag was stolen from a car parked on Rutland Avenue.

On aug. 7 at 4:02 a.m., a complainant from Loel Court reported that an electronic device was stolen from a parked car.

Criminal Mischief

On Aug. 4 at 1:35 p.m., a complainant from Wantagh reported that a 1999 Mercury was damaged while parked at 77 N. Centre Avenue.
