Arrests
On Sept. 18 at 5:10 p.m., Frank Latorre, 56, of N. Forest Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested for second-degree criminal contempt following an investigation by police in the vicinity of Wallace Court, Rockville Centre.
On Sept. 20 at 11:14 p.m., Marques J. Stepney, 34, from Chester Street, Brooklyn, was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Long Beach Road.

On Sept. 22 at 9:19 p.m., Troy J. Barrett, 23, of W. Centennial Avenue, Roosevelt, was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Hampshire Road, Rockville Centre.

On Sept. 18 at 11:01 a.m., an employee at the Gulf station located at 2 Sunrise Highway reported that two unknown persons stole cigarettes.
On Sept. 18 at 7:13 p.m., a Floral Park resident reported that someone stole her cell phone from her car while it was parked in the vicinity of Kashi, 222 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.
On Sept. 19 at 5:16 p.m., a complainant from Pennsylvania Avenue, Roosevelt, reported that he paid an unknown man $1,200regarding a Craigslist ad for an apartment at 77 S. Park Avenue that was not available.
On Sept. 20 at 12:15 p.m., a complainant from Cornell Avenue, Lakeview, reported that a suitcase containing personal property was stolen from the vicinity of Front Street.
Unusual Incidents
On Sept. 18 at 12:03 p.m., an employee of Molloy College reported that someone made unauthorized copies of business checks and attempted to cash them.
On Sept. 23 at 11:18 a.m., a complainant from Springfield Gardens reported that three forged TD Bank payroll checks totaling $996.68 were cashed by an unknown person.
On Sept. 24 at 6:59 p.m., a complainant from Bellmore reported that he had a verbal dispute with two motorcyclists while in the vicinity of N. Park Avenue.
Criminal Mischief
On Sept. 18 at 12:09 p.m., a complainant from Meehan Lane reported finding that tires to a motor vehicle had been damaged.
On Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m., a complainant from Meehan Lane reported finding that all four tires to a 2013 Dodge motor vehicle had been slashed.
Harassment
On Sept. 23 at 12:15 a.m., a complainant from Floral Park reported that an unknown man punched him in the face while in the vicinity of 41 Maine Ave.
Found Property
On Sept. 22 at 11:14 a.m., police personnel located two abandoned bicycles in Municipal Parking Fields 8 and 16.
On Sept. 24 at 10:30 p.m., a complainant from Inwood reported that he found an Avigo dirt bikein the vicinity of 255 Merrick Road.
