Arrests
On Oct. 11 at 1:25 p.m., Lashawn T. McCloud, 26, of Hempstead, was arrested for second-degree robbery, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, endangering the welfare of a child and false personation following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Front Street.
On Oct. 12 at 5:48 p.m., Matthew A. Allen, 27, of Jamaica, was arrested for criminal possession of forgery devices and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 2 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre.

On Friday, 10/13/2017 at 6:20 PM, Jonathan S. Francis, 34 years old of Merrick Road, Jamaica was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd Degree and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Windsor Avenue and Merrick Road.

On Oct. 15 at 7:07 p.m., a complainant from Merrick Road reported that a safe located in a closet was damaged and jewelry was stolen.
Assault
On Oct. 15 at 2:21 p.m., a woman from Meehan Lane reported that she was assaulted with an aluminum can by an unknown female while in the vicinity of 146 N. Centre Ave., resulting in a facial injury requiring medical attention.
Larcenies
On Oct. 9 at 6:24 p.m., a complainant from the AT&T Store on Sunrise Highway reported that an unknown man stole an iPhone.
On Oct. 10 at 1:17 p.m., a complainant from Inwood reported that a Coach bag and debit card were stolen while working at Mercy Medical Center.
On Oct. 11 at 6:05 p.m., a complainant from Sherwood Road reported that an Apple MacBook Pro was stolen from the library.
Unusual Incidents
On Oct. 11 at 2:35 p.m., a woman from Maine Avenue reported that an acquaintance opened a Visa credit card using her personal information without authorization.
On Oct. 16 at 2:05 a.m., a complainant from Bedford Avenue reported that an unknown man was observed tampering with a mailbox located at Bedford Avenue and Brevoort Place.
Harassment
On Oct. 14 at 9:40 a.m., a complainant from Royal Court reported that she received a threatening text message from an acquaintance causing annoyance and alarm.
Property Damage
On Oct. 15 at 4:12 a.m., a caller reported to police that a front window of 25 S. Park Avenue Rockville Centre was broken.
Juvenile
On Oct. 14 at 5:07 p.m., a complainant from Old Mill Court reported that his son was being harassed by an acquaintance.
Village Code Violation
On Oct. 14 at 9:12 p.m., Lewis E. Bumbolo, 50, from Merrick Road, was issued an appearance ticket for violating Social Host Law following an investigation by police.
