Arrests

On Oct. 18 at 2:15 p.m., Shamiqwa Dixon, age 22, of Parkway Boulevard, Wyandanch, and Nataysia Dingle, 30, of Sammis Avenue, Deer Park, were arrested for criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny while in the vicinity of HomeGoods, 150 N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On Oct. 17 at 7:03 p.m., a complainant from Vincent Street reported that she had a dispute with a boyfriend from Hempstead, and that he punched her brother in the face and later fired a handgun during the altercation.

On Oct. 17 at 4:02 p.m., a complainant from Maple Avenue reported that she was contacted by her daughter’s father in violation of an order of protection.

Larceny

On Oct. 21 at 10:08 a.m., a complainant from Morris Avenue reported that a Coach briefcase containing work CDs was stolen from in front of her home.

On Oct. 22 at 3:54 a.m., a complainant from Baldwin reported that her black clutch valued at $20, containing Samsung Galaxy S5 valued at $800, Chase credit card, driver license and keys was stolen when it was unattended at a table in Dark Horse Tavern, located on S. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre.

On Oct. 22 at 7:25 p.m., a complainant from Roxen Road reported that a leather bag, iPad and business paperwork were stolen from an unlocked Jeep Cherokee parked in the driveway.

On Oct. 16 at 9:45 p.m., a complainant from Lawrence reported that an Apple iPad was stolen from an unlocked Honda parked in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue.

On Oct. 16 at 11:26 p.m., a complainant from Kissimmee, New York reported that a wallet was stolen from the counter of McDonald’s.

Graffiti

On Oct. 16 at 4:03 p.m., police personnel located graffiti that had been placed on a concrete wall in Municipal Parking Field 6.

Unusual Incident

On Oct. 19 at 10:33 a.m., an Oceanside resident reported that someone opened a credit card account in his name and was having four cell phones delivered to a N. Village Avenue business without his authorization.

Harassment

On Oct. 22 at 7:48 p.m., the owner of Cabo, located on N. Park Avenue, said that an employee was texting and calling management, causing annoyance and alarm.

Juvenile

On Oct. 18 at 2:07 p.m., a Brower Avenue resident reported that her son was involved in a disturbance with another student while at South Side Middle School.

On Oct. 20 at 4:19 p.m., a juvenile reported that another juvenile took inappropriate photos while in the rest room of South Side Middle School and posted them on Snapchat.
