On Oct. 24 at 8:15 p.m., a man from Elmont reported that an unknown man paid him $600 in counterfeit currency for an agreed upon sneaker and watch purchase while at the Dunkin Donuts on N. Village Avenue.

Larceny

On Oct. 27 at 2:35 p.m., a complainant from Berkshire Road reported that an unknown man stole an Apple iPhone 7 and prescription medication from a BMW parked in front of his home.

Graffiti

On Oct. 27 at 5:16 p.m., police personnel located graffiti that had been placed on a village sign in Municipal Parking Field 9.

Harassment

On Oct. 24 at 3:55 p.m., a woman from Behnke Court reported that she received harassing phone calls from an unknown person, causing annoyance and alarm.

On Oct. 28 at 9:54 a.m., a complainant from Texas reported that she was punched by a friend from Old Mill Court while at her residence.

Juvenile

On Oct. 26 at 12:55 p.m., a woman from Linden Street reported that her daughter was verbally harassed by another student from South Side High School.

On Oct. 26 at 5:15 p.m., the principal from Hewitt School reported that three juveniles verbally harassed another on a school bus and then physically harassed him when they were let out at their bus stop.

Property Damage

On Oct. 23 at 3:29 p.m., a complainant from Flushing reported that the bumper to a Jeep was damaged by unknown means while parked on Hendrickson Avenue.

On Oct. 24 at 2:05 p.m., a complainant from N. Centre Avenue reported that a motor vehicle caused damage to electrical wires located outside of the building.

Trespass

On Oct. 27 at 11:50 p.m., police personnel assisted Molloy College personnel with a trespass investigation.

Village Code Violation

On Oct. 28, a 17-year-old was issued an appearance ticket for a Social Host Law violation that occurred at a Broadway residence.
