Arrests

On Jan. 8 at 10:37 p.m., Warren Owens, 50, of Hempstead, was arrested for third-degree criminal mischief in following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On Jan. 9 at 11:09 p.m., Dexter Hall Jr., 33, of Cambria Heights, was arrested for third-degree criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre.

On Jan. 11 at 12:34 p.m., Meredith Smith, 50, of Baldwin, was arrested for second- and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic infractions following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway.

On Jan. 12 at 4 a.m., Michael R. Ryan, 53, of Levittown, was arrested for third-degree burglary, second-, third- and fourth-degree criminal mischief and petty larceny following a burglary investigation by police personnel after he was observed inside an office at Molloy College.

Unusual Incident

On Jan. 8 at 12:28 p.m., a Winding Road resident reported that someone attempted to use his personal information to make a purchase.

On Jan. 8 at 2:07 p.m., a Maple Avenue resident reported that somoene attempted to use her personal information to make a fraudulent transaction.

On Jan. 13 at 11:30 a.m., a complainant from Harvard Avenue reported that someone opened a Wayfair credit card account and made $4055.41 in unauthorized purchases.

Harassment

On Jan. 14 at 11:14 p.m., a complainant from Linden Street reported that he was harassed by two acquaintances while in the vicinity of Shepherd Street.

Juvenile

On Jan. 10 at 11:36 a.m., the Assistant Principal of South Side High School reported confiscating two vape devices from students at the school.
