Arrests
On Jan. 22 at 7:39 a.m., Maurice Douse, 55, of N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested for an open bench warrant for petty larceny following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Park Avenue.
On Jan. 22 at 8:18 p.m., Adolfo Hernandez, 28, of Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre, was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Maine Avenue.

On Jan. 23 at 11:50 a.m., Porfirio Martinez-Esquive, 41, of Roosevelt, was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, circumventing an interlock device and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway.
On Jan. 24 at 11:17 p.m., Alexander Troso, 21, of Jefferson Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested for second-degree burglary following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Denton Court, Rockville Centre, and was charged with second-degree attempted burglary after allegedly attempting to burglarize a S. Park Avenue residence.

On Jan. 25 at 11:05 p.m., Ray Digiacomo, 40, of Bethpage, was arrested for DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree harassment following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Merrick Road, Rockville Centre.
Assault
On Jan. 28 at 12:51 a.m., a complainant from Smithtown reported that he was assaulted with a beer bottle while at Kasey’s Bar, resulting in head lacerations requiring medical attention.
Larceny
On Jan. 23 at 3:08 p.m., a complainant from Morris Avenue reported that a JC Penny jewelry delivery was stolen from the vicinity of the residence.
On Jan. 28 at 8:55 a.m., a complainant from Marvin Avenue reported that someone damaged a front passenger window to vehicle parked in the rear of Sportset and personal property including credit cards and iPhone were stolen.
Unauthorized Use
On Jan. 22 at 8:55 a.m., a complainant from U-Haul, located at 240 Maple Ave. reported that a customer failed to return a rental truck.
Unusual Incidents
On Jan. 22 at 11:12 a.m., a complainant from Lenox Road reported a fraudulent check for $315.10 was written against an Astoria Bank checking account.
On Jan. 26 at 12:31 a.m., a N. Oceanside Road resident reported that a known person attempted to solicit money from her son.
Criminal Mischief
On Jan. 25 at 8:45 a.m., a N. Park Avenue business owner reported that someone damaged the window of his business.
Property Damage
On Jan. 23 at 4:39 p.m., a complainant from Lynbrook reported that the front passenger window of a 2017 Ford was damaged while parked in the vicinity of N. Park Avenue and Riverside Drive.
Found Property
On Jan. 28 at 11:48 a.m., the assistant manager from Enterprise reported that a customer found a shotgun in the trunk of a rental vehicle.
