Arrests
On Feb. 2 at 1:41 a.m., Samuel Pierre, 22, of, Brooklyn, was arrested for third-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petty larceny following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Merrick Road.
On Jan. 1 at 9:41 p.m., Gregory M. Sterling, 28, of, Uniondale, was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to obey traffic control device following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway and N. Park Avenue.

Burglary
On Feb. 2 at 11:15 p.m., a complainant from Fonda Road reported that someone broke into their home and stole jewelry.

Burglary (attempt)
On Feb. 4 at 11:59 a.m., a complainant from Hampshire Road reported that on Feb. 2, someone attempted to enter the residence.
Forgery
On Jan. 31 at 8:35 a.m., a complainant from N. Park Avenue reported that someone altered four Western Union money orders totaling $1,300 without permission.
Larcenies
On Jan. 29 at 7:04 a.m., a complainant from Lakeside Drive reported that a 2014 Ford van containing tools and equipment valued at $18,000 was stolen while parked at 125 N. Park Avenue.
On Jan. 29 at 8:26 p.m., a complainant from Banbury Road reported a wallet containing credit cards and personal paperwork was stolen from an office at Molloy College.
On Jan. 31 at 7:21 p.m., a complainant from Hamilton Street reported that someone damaged the rear passenger side window to a 2017 Hyundai parked in Municipal Parking Field 5 and stole a pocketbook containing personal property.
On Jan. 31 at 7:51 p.m., a complainant from South Hempstead reported that someone damaged the passenger side window to a 2013 Chevrolet parked on Ohio Street and stole personal property valued at approximately $1,300.
On Feb. 2 at 2:08 p.m., a complainant from Lakeview Avenue reported that she discovered multiple unauthorized charges were made against a Chase Slate Visa credit card that may have been removed from her purse while parked in Municipal Parking Field 3.
On Feb. 2 at 2:29 p.m.a complainant from Smith Street reported that someone stole a portable JBL Speaker valued at $100 from his vehicle which was parked in the backyard of the residence.
Unusual Incidents
On Jan. 30 at 1:12 p.m., a complainant from N. Long Beach Road reported that someone used his personal information to make unauthorized withdrawals from a TD Bank checking account totaling $976.58.
On Jan. 30 at 1:49 p.m., a complainant from Hamilton Road reported that someone used his personal information to open an AT&T account without authorization.
Criminal Mischief
On Jan. 31 at 4:51 p.m., a complainant from Baldwin reported that someone damaged the front passenger side window to a 2017 Acura parked at Temple B’Nai Shalom.
