Unusual Incident
On May 13 at 7:45 p.m., a Thomas Road resident reported he provided an unknown person with gift card codes valued at $2,700 after he was told that his computer was infected with a virus during a phone scam.
Larceny of Bicycle
On May 10 at 11:45 a.m., an Oceanside resident reported his bicycle was stolen from the rear of a hardware store on Sunrise Highway.
Larceny
On May 12 at 11:06 p.m., a Valley Stream resident reported her pocketbook was stolen from inside a N. Park Avenue restaurant.
Assault
On May 11 at 5:03 a.m., a woman reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend in a hotel on Sunrise Highway.
On May 12 at 1:42 a.m., a woman reported she was assaulted by an unknown man in a S. Park Avenue restaurant.
Arrests
On May 7 at 10:25 p.m., Geraldo Vasquez, 54, of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and a traffic offenses after he was observed operating a vehicle on Grand Avenue.
On May 10 at 12:23 a.m., Jamoy A. Johnson, 23, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and two traffic offenses after he was observed operating a vehicle on Sunrise Highway.
On May 10 at 2:57 p.m., Huley Williams, 57, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Sunrise Highway and charged with numerous counts of grand larceny related to thefts from cars in gym parking areas in Rockville Centre and surrounding communities.
On May 12 at 7:33 p.m, Michelle Irby, 50, of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic offenses in the vicinity of S. Village Avenue.
