Leaving the Scene

On June 11 at 10:09 a.m., a driver reported her car was struck from behind by a vehicle that left the scene while she was driving on Oceanside Road. One minor injury was reported.

On June 14 at 12:15 a.m., a homeowner on Fenway reported a vehicle left the scene after striking a village light pole and shrubbery.

On June 15 at 9:50 a.m., a driver reported her car was struck from behind by a vehicle that left the scene while she was driving on North Long Beach Road. No injuries were reported.

Arrest

On June 17 at 11:20 p.m., Steven Picard, 36, of Seaford, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a traffic infraction after he was observed operating a vehicle on Sunrise Highway.
