Leaving the Scene

On June 29 at 9:58 a.m., a driver reported his vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while it was parked in a store lot on Sunrise Highway.

Larceny

On June 25 at 1:42 p.m., the owner of a boutique on South Village Avenue reported the theft of three watches.

On June 25 at 4:57 p.m., a commuter reported his bicycle was stolen from the rack at the LIRR station near the taxi stand during the day.

On June 25 at 9:24 p.m., a Hempstead Avenue resident reported a bicycle was stolen from her front porch.

On June 30 at 2:44 p.m., an Ormond Street resident reported a bicycle was stolen from his garage.

Criminal Mischief

On July 1 at 9:25 a.m., a restaurant manager on Sunrise Highway reported outdoor tables were damaged overnight.

Arrest

On July 1 at 10:02 a.m., Christopher M. Digiuseppe, 32, of Merrick, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of an interlock device, third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle and disorderly conduct following an investigation at a hotel on Sunrise Highway.
