On July 3 at 2:59 a.m., a burglar alarm for a glass break was received for a store on N. Park Avenue. Both front windows were found broken. The owner responded and was unable to determine the value of any property taken.

Larceny

On July 4 at 1:50 p.m., a Banks Avenue resident reported his 2015 Ford truck was stolen from the building parking lot overnight.

On July 8 at 3:14 p.m., a Fonda Road resident reported someone removed emblems and decals from her vehicle while it was parked in the driveway overnight.

On July 7 at 5:27 p.m., a driver reported her vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while she was driving on N. Centre Avenue.

On July 8 at 12:02 a.m., a motorist reported his vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while it was parked on Lincoln Avenue.

Criminal Mischief

On July 5 at 3:17 p.m., a N. Centre Avenue resident reported his vehicle was vandalized while parked in the building garage overnight.

Arrest

On July 4 at 9:46 p.m., Christopher R. Fevola, 48, of Smithtown, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child during a disturbance on Merrick Road.
