Larceny

On July 23 at 12:27 p.m., a Raymond Street resident reported change was stolen from his unlocked vehicle overnight.

On July 23 at 1:37 p.m., a business owner at a store on Sunrise Highway reported a ladder was stolen from the rear of his building.

On July 23 at 5:36 p.m., a Valley Stream resident reported her wallet was stolen while inside a S. Park Avenue business.

On July 26 at 8:27 a.m., an employee at Mercy Medical Center reported that her wallet was stolen from her office.

On July 27 at 1:57 p.m., a Murray Court resident reported her passport was stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight.

On July 29 at 1:25 p.m., a Milton Court resident reported an iPad was stolen from his unlocked vehicle overnight.

Leaving the Scene

On July 25 at 4:39 p.m., a motorist reported her vehicle was struck by a car that left the scene while she was parked on Merrick Road.

Harassment

On July 23 at 3:36 p.m., a Kennedy Avenue resident reported she was threatened via phones calls and text messages by an acquaintance.

Arrest

On July 26 at 11:03 a.m., Christopher Rederscheid, 21, of Centereach, was arrested and charged with second-degree unlawful impersonation and third-degree attempted assault at a residence on Shepherd Street.

On July 26 at 6:34 p.m., Charles Davis, 26, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and vehicle and traffic law offenses in the vicinity of Morris Avenue.
