Rockville Centre Man Caught Breaking Into Home: Police
Police say he was trying to burglarize the house, but fled when he realized someone was home.

A young Rockville Centre man was arrested Wednesday night after police say he was caught trying to burglarize a home in the village.
According to police, a home health care aide was in the second-floor bedroom of a home when she saw 21-year-old Alexander Troso, of Jefferson Avenue, open the bedroom door and attempt to enter. Police say Troso saw the aide and then fled downstairs and out of the house through a front window.
The aide called the Rockville Centre Police Department and they began investigating. Troso was arrested at his home at 1:08 a.m. Thursday. He did not manage to steal anything from the house.
