Rockville Centre Man Stabbed Another Outside Restaurant: Police

The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents for the week ending Sept. 30.
Burglary
- On Sept. 23 at 4:55 p.m., a Hempstead Avenue resident reported that someone entered her home and stole jewelry and money.

- On Sept. 27 at 2:22 a.m., the manager of a N. Village Avenue business reported an employee activated and removed gift cards from the store and stole money.
Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident
- On Sept. 25 at 10 a.m., a driver reported his car was struck by a NICE Bus that left the scene while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 7.
- On Sept. 27 at 7:52 a.m., a driver reported that while they parked on Davison Avenue, another vehicle struck her car and left the scene.
- On Sept. 30 at 6:53 a.m., a driver reported that while they were driving in the vicinity of Lincoln Avenue, another vehicle struck her car and left the scene.

- On Sept. 25 at 8:59 a.m., Derrick A. Prince, 46, of Elmont, was arrested and charged with third- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle during a traffic stop and investigation on Sunrise Highway.
- On Sept. 28 at 2:34 a.m., Donovan Roth, 25, of Jackson Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after police say he stabbed someone outside of a restaurant on South Park Avenue.
