Rockville Centre Mayor Earns Lifetime Achievement Award
Mayor Francis Murray was honored by the Friends of Mercy Hospital.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Village of Rockville Centre Mayor Francis Murray was given a lifetime achievement award from Friends of Mercy Hospital.
Murray, a lifelong resident of Rockville Centre, has been an active member of the village fire department for 50 years.
He received the award named for Bishop John R. McCann.

The 86th annual Mercy Ball took place earlier this month.
Dr. Aleem Ali was also honored at the event with the Theodore Roosevelt for Outstanding Service. He joined Mercy Hospital in 2010 and is the president of the medical staff.

Helen Helkowski was selected as the Sister Mary Nadine Casey, CIJ Award winner. She has been a member of Mercy for the last 12 years as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer.
