Rockville Centre Power Outages Scheduled
The utility company expects overnight work to shut electricity for up to three hours.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Residents and business owners should anticipate scattered power outages this week.
During the overnight hours Wednesday, electricity is expected to be shut for up to three hours.
The Rockville Centre Electric Department needs to perform circuit maintenance and electric load transfer. It is scheduled to take place from 2 a.m to 5 a.m., with Thursday as the raincheck date, the Village of Rockville Centre said on its website.

Power may be impacted at:
- Morris Avenue from Sunrise Highway to Merrick Road
- Portions of Merrick and Lenox Roads
- North side of Sunrise Highway from Morris Avenue to N. Park Avenue
- South Park Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to Merrick Road
The village urges people to shut any sensitive electronic devices prior to the power outage.
