Rockville Centre Resident Turns 103
Marie Fasig celebrated the momentous occasion with her friends and family
Rockville Centre resident Marie Fasig celebrated her 103 birthday last week.
Fasig was born on July 27, 1913 in Brooklyn. She married her husband, John, in 1934. The couple had three sons: John, Robert and Raymond. Fasig spent her career working for Pfizer.
The long-lived village resident celebrated with her family and friends at Maple Pointe Assisted Living last week, where she was honored by Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray. The mayor declared July 27, 2016 to be Marie Fasig Day in Rockville Centre.
