Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. Arrests  On Aug. 14 at 5:40 p.m., Palo R. Howe, 37, of Wendell Street, Hempstead, was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and resisting arrest during a domestic incident at the Rockville Centre LIRR station.  Criminal Mischief   On Aug. 14 at 11:30 p.m., a South Centre Avenue resident reported his bedroom window was broken.  Larceny  On Aug. 11 at 7 p.m.,, a Burtis Avenue resident reported someone stole a UPS package containing an Apple iPhone valued at $857 from the front of the residence.  On Aug. 12 at 11:04 a.m., an employee at Mercy Medical Center reported her cell phone was stolen.  Assault   On Aug. 13 at 2:28 a.m., a Merrick resident reported she was punched in the face by an unknown man in the vicinity of 49 N. Village Avenue.  On Aug. 13 at 2:58 a.m., a Massapequa resident reported he was assaulted by three men after he attempted to enter a car he believed was his Uber ride on Front Street.  On Aug. 14 at 3:05 a.m., a West Islip resident reported he was punched in the face by an unknown man in the vicinity 298 Sunrise Hwy.Photo: Google Maps.
