ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Preparing for the holiday season, Rockville Centre is bringing back its Snowman Hunt for the fifth year. Snowmen will get stenciled in front of each participating business. The deadline for shop owners to sign-up is Oct. 31. It's a $50 fee, the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce said. The Snowman Hunt map features all business and shopping areas in Rockville Centre, listing all chamber members joining the holiday event. Phone numbers of those businesses will be included on the map. The Snowman Hunt will also be posted on social media sites. It runs from Nov. 27 to Dec. 22.
