RVC Conservancy Offering Chance To Sponsor Features AT Rec Center
The idea builds off the Conservancy's popular program of purchasing benches around the village.

Growing the popular program that allowed residents to purchase benches around the village, the Rockville Centre Conservancy is now selling picnic tables that will be placed at the new playground at the John A. Anderson Recreation Center. The tables can commemorate a person, company or any special ocassion.
The Recreation Center unveiled its newly constructed playground, which features new slides, swings, rubberized safety surface, a “smartplay” castle and spray pad with seven circular water spouts surrounding a green sprinkler tower.
The new metal tables use a durable thermoplastic coating which will withstand all weather elements. The Conservancy is seeking donations to fund the purchase of three 46-foot round tables, one 8-foot rectangle table, and one 8-foot wheelchair-accessible rectangle table. Donations for individual tables range in price from $680 to $700. Smaller donations are also welcome.
