RVC Girl Scouts Hold Baking Competition
The girls competed to see whose baked goods were best.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY - From the Village of Rockville Centre: On Friday, January 19th, Wilson Girl Scout Troop 827 held a bake off competition at the Recreation Center. 18 girls baked cakes that were judged by the Village of Rockville Centre Deputy Mayor Baxley; Lisa Yumanski, owner of Polka Dot Poundcake in RVC; and RVC fourth grade teacher Mr. Chiofalo. The cakes were all delicious and a great time was had by all! Congratulations to all the participants and to fourth grade winner Norah Byrne, whose crumb cake won first place!
