RVC Homeowners Can Order Trees To Grow In Front Of House

The cost is $250 for the tree and $350 for the planting. Do you plan to order one?

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — If your home is in need of some new curb appeal, how about a new tree? The VIllage of Rockville Centre is running its annual tree program.

Residents have six styles of trees to choose from, including Honey Locust Thornless, Japanese Lilac and Canadian Red Select Cherry.

Each planted tree is covered by the village for one year, they said on its website. If the tree dies it will be replaced at no charge. After the 12-month period, the homeowner is responsible for all maintenance.
