RVC Schools Closed Tomorrow, Concert Rescheduled

The Rockville Centre Public Schools announced Wednesday afternoon that all schools would be closed on Thursday, Feb. 9 and after-school activities would be canceled.

Classes are being canceled because of the first major snow storm of the season, which is predicted to drop up to a foot of snow on some parts of Long Island.

In addition to schools being closed, the high school and middle school jazz concerts are canceled. They have been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. and moved to South Side High School.
