School Budget Vote On May 17: RVC District Proposes 4.25% Hike
It takes place at South Side High School.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Rockville Centre homeowners will decide on the 2022-2023 school budget on Tues., May 17.
The proposed budget of $129 million is an increase is 4.25 percent.
The tax levy of $101,850,000 would be a 2.1 percent increase from the previous budget.

There are $1.8 million in capital projects in the budget that would go toward maintenance, renovations and improvements at district buildings.
The election takes place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at South Side High School. If it fails to pass, the board put up the same, or adjusted, budget for a re-vote in June.
