Missing Hempstead 14-Year-Old Located: Police

HEMPSTEAD, NY. — A 14-year-old boy was reported found Tuesday afternoon after he had last been seen at 10 p.m. Saturday night and reported missing Monday morning, police said.

Nassau County police said 14-year-old Kayden Dawkins had last been seen in Hempstead, but that his destination was unknown. Dawkins had been wearing a black jacket with a brown hood at the time he had last been seen, police said.

Police had encouraged anyone with information on Dawkins’ whereabouts to call the missing persons squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911. As of Tuesday afternoon, however, police said he had been found.
