Missing Uniondale 12-Year-Old Located: Police

UNIONDALE, NY. — A 12-year-old girl was located by police Monday, ending a search that began just before 10 p.m. Sunday night when she was reported missing to police, police said.

Nassau County police said 12-year-old Uniondale resident Yamileth Aguilar had been located just before noon Monday. She was previously reported missing at 9:55 p.m. Sunday after being last seen Sunday at 12:45 p.m.

Police had previously encouraged anyone with information about Aguilar’s whereabouts to contact the missing persons squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. As of Monday afternoon, however, she had been found.
