See You In The Funny Pages: Man Steals Thousands In Comics
Police say the man broke into a Newsday facility and stole thousands of dollars in comics.
Nassau police are searching for a man who stole thousands of dollars of comics from a facility in Oceanside.
According to police, on March 23 at 1 p.m., the man pictured above broke into a Newsday warehouse, located at 3577 Maple Court, and stole approximately $4,000 in Newsday comics from the facility. Police say he then fled the scene in a tan-colored minivan.
Police ask anyone with information about the man or this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will be kept anonymous, and you could earn a cash reward for your information.
