While working toward a BSBA in Finance at West New England University, Fusco was among more than 100 students who participated in the school's Product Innovation Showcase.

Mackenzie O'Connor, of Merrick, was one of more than 40 SUNY Oneonta students who received the Richard Siegfried Student Award this semester for earning a total GPA of 3.9 or higher.

Alexis Hoffmann, of North Bellmore, has been named to the Elmira College Dean's List for the Fall 2022 Term.
Jordan Peiser, of Great Neck, was also named to the Elmira College Dean's List for the fall
Mineola's Paul Matina was part of the "Little Red Dragon" program at SUNY Oneonta. The workshop providing sports and exercise classes to local children. Matina is studying business economics.
Jack Savalli, of Merrick (11566), was recently named to the 2022 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) fall all-academic team for football. Savalli is a sophomore at Hamilton College in upstate New York, is a graduate of Mepham High School.
A pair of students from the south shore had a hand in shaping a new musical.
SUNY Cortland's Kara Vito, from Lynbrook, and Anne Ross, of North Bellmore, helped construct "The Bone Harp," loosely based on a macabre, centuries-old Scottish ballad involving a murder between sisters, a harp fashioned from the victim's bones and a ghostly reckoning.
