Thunderstorm Warning Expires For Southern Nassau, But Nasty Weather Sticking Around
Sun to return Tuesday, but temperatures set to plummet.

The severe thunderstorm warning for southern Nassau County expired at 3:15 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
The wet, windy weather, however, is sticking around for the rest of Monday.

- Late Afternoon: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Patchy fog. High near 55. South wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Tonight: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 10pm, then a chance of rain between 10pm and 1am. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Patchy fog before 7pm. Low around 35. West wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Tuesday: Sunny, with a temperature falling to around 33 by 5pm. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.
