ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Molloy University will play the role of an arthouse theater for one night only this month, as the Asbury Shorts International film exhibition makes its way to Rockville Centre Apr. 17.

The Asbury Shorts expo, presenting its 45th “short film concert,” will play the Madison Theater on Molloy’s campus that night, giving viewers the chance to see animation, comedies and dramas, all in a shorter format but still on the big screen.

Organizers say the festival is strongly recommended for viewers 16 and older, with the curtains going up at 7 p.m. on the big night. The presentation, organizers say, will combine past award-winning shorts with newer international films.
