South Nassau Health Fair Moves to SATURDAY!

This year, our free health fair, which in the past has been held on the day of the 5K, is being held the day BEFORE the 5K, on SATURDAY, September 27, from 10a - 3p, and will be held inside in the hospital’s conference center.

The health fair is open to all, and there will be free screenings and valuable information at the health fair, including:

** Free flu shots to the first 300 participants **

FREE Health Screenings:
- Asthma
- Blood Pressure
- Cholesterol
- Head and Neck Cancer
- Prostate Cancer (PSA Blood Test)
- Sleep
- Wellness Assessment
- Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI) and Waist Circumference

Health Education Topics Include:
- Cancer Prevention and the Importance of Early Detection
- Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stroke
- Trauma & Fall Prevention
- Spiritual Care & Wellness
- Weight Loss Surgery
