Standout Students: Highlighting Nassau County Top Achievers

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — As we start the new year, Patch has more talented students to tell you about from Nassau County.

Alison DeLuca, of Seaford, and Emma Pollackov of Lynbrook, have been named to the Dean's Honors List at Moravian University in Bethelem, PA.

Shahood Ahmad, Hewlett, and Vickie Evola of Woodmere, are part of the Dean's List at Lehigh University.

Malverne's Molly Landers and Merrick's Ben Weinberg are also part of the school's honor list.

Jeremiah Echevarria, of Long Beach, earned Dean's List honors at American International College in Springfield, MA. Echevarria is majoring in Criminal Justice.

North Bellmore's Mia McElwee has been recognized for outstanding achievement by being named to the McDaniel College in Dean's List. The school is located in Westminster, MD.

Elyssa Thompson, a Music major, from Long Beach, was recently named to the President's List at SUNY Potsdam, along with Danny Neri of Lynbrook, a Music Education major.

Sarah Kinkel from Levittown, was named to the Dean's List at Springfield College. Her primary major is Physical Education.

Elaine Mayer from Hicksville is a Provost's Scholar at Hofstra University for the Fall 2022 semester.

The University of Bridgeport named Connor Cullen, of Levittown and James Napoli, of Wantagh and to the Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Kathryn Moore, of Oyster Bay, was one of the University of Scranton students (along with her high school teacher) recognized with the Rose Kelly Award.

The award is presented jointly to a student in each of the University's colleges who has completed two years at Scranton and to the teacher whom he or she recognizes as having a great impact on his or her life.

Maggie Roach, of New Hyde Park, is one of 477 students who made the President's List at Shenandoah University in Virginia.

Katie Hopkins was named to the Dean's List at Lasell University in Newton, MA. Hopkins is from Garden City Park.

Stonehill College in Massachusetts named several Long Islanders to the Dean's List:
