Start the Holiday Season with The Nutcracker

Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Ballet, one of the most beloved holiday shows, is being performed this weekend at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College.

The theatre, located at Molloy's Rockville Centre campus at 1000 Hempstead Ave., is one of the Island's newest and most desirable performance locations. This year is the first time The Nutcracker is being performed at the Madison Theatre.

Led by Joan MacNaughton and Scott Jackson Wiley, the performance will be accompanied by the South Shore Symphony Orchestra, making it the only performance of the ballet on Long Island that features a full symphonic orchestra.

The performance is scheduled for Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $40, and can be purchased by visiting the Madison Theatre website.
