Stolen Cat Reunited With Owner In Oceanside; Arrest Made
Vincent Fredricks is accused of grabbing the house cat from a driveway last month, authorities said.

OCEANSIDE, NY — A man, who stole a cat from Oceanside driveway last month, has been arrested.
Vincent Fredricks, 20, of Oceanside, grabbed the cat from outside a residence on Brower Avenue, authorities said. It happened on the morning of Feb. 9.
The male Turkish Angora, named Toby, was safely reunited with his owner.

Detectives were able to track Fredricks' vehicle to ultimately identify him.
He is charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was scheduled to be arraigned on March 7.
