Burglary
On July 29 at 6:17 a.m., the owner of A+S Fine Foods, located at 216 Sunrise Highway, reported that entered the store and stole a cash register containing $1,500.

Larceny
On July 30 at 12:22 a.m., a hotel guest from Best Western, located at 173 Sunrise Highway, reported that someone stole a laptop computer valued at $800 and a hand bag containing personal property from the vicinity of the guest service desk.

On July 30 at 10:21 p.m., a manager from CVS, located 598 Merrick Road, reported that an unknown man stole assorted merchandise totaling $667.81.
On July 31 at 2:16 p.m., a complainant reported that someone stole a replica historical sign valued at $1,200 from in front of Cork and Kerry Bar, located at 24 S. Park Avenue.
On July 31 at 4:46 p.m., two complainants reported that two acquaintances passed checks that were returned without payment, resulting in $1,200 in losses.
Theft of Services
On July 27 at 1:03 a.m., a manager from T.G.I. Fridays, located at 716 Sunrise Highway, reported that two unknown men paid separate restaurant bills with two credit cards that may have been used unlawfully; all parties fled on foot in unknown direction.
Unusual Incident
On July 31 at 2:28 p.m., a woman from Old Mill Court reported that someone made purchases against what she believed to be a canceled Chase credit card account without authorization.
Criminal Mischief
On July 27 at 6:31 p.m., the owner of Eden Total Skin Care, located at 28B S. Park Ave., reported that a former employee damaged a 2012 Honda parked in the rear of the store.
Property Damage
On July 29 at 8:45 p.m., a complainant from Harvard Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that the rear driver side door to a 2014 GMC motor vehicle was damaged while parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 3.
Graffiti
On July 29 at 4:08 p.m., police located graffiti that had been placed on the sidewalk in the rear of 284 Sunrise Highway in the vicinity of Municipal Parking Field No. 1.
