Taxi Employees Stole $158,000 From Company: Police

Five employees at All Island Taxi, including the receptionist, dispatcher and drivers were arrested on Wednesday.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY - Five employees of All Island Taxi in Rockville Centre were arrested on Wednesday for stealing $158,000 from the company, according to Nassau Police.

A 39-year-old man reported a conspiracy to defraud the taxi company on 50 Front Street of revenue from January 2011 through Feb. 7, 2016, according to police.

This conspiracy involved multiple employees including the receptionist, dispatcher and drivers.

The employees worked together to refrain from recording calls and trips into the company’s business records.

The stolen revenue was shared among the five people, according to police.

The five employees are:

  • Kristine Vlasaty-Ramacca, 52, of 57 Norfolk Road, Island Park
  • James Ramacca, 58, of 57 Norfolk Road, Island Park
  • Edmund Bonavoglia, 69, of 61 Maine Apt C25, Rockville Centre
  • Vincent Pecora, 65, of 1043 Jefferson Street, Baldwin
  • Vincent Bochilo, 75, of 2900 Rockaway Avenue, Oceanside

All five are charged with second degree grand larceny, first degree falsifying business records and fourth degree conspiracy, police said. They will be arraigned on Thursday.
