Town of Hempstead Offers COVID-19 Booster, Flu Shots
The Rockville Centre Recreation Center hosts the "Vaxmobile" on Oct. 26.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The older population is among the most vulnerable to COVID-19 and the Town of Hempstead is providing free booster vaccinations.
As part of the town's Vaxmobile service in conjunction with Mount Sinai South Nassau, the Rockville Centre Recreation Center Senior Center will host the extra dose.
Additionally, the town will offer flu shots.

Vaccinations are planned for Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Walk-ups are permitted, but scheduling in advance is encouraged. You can call Mount Sinai South Nassau at 516-377-5333 or apply online.
