ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Police Department reports the following incidents in the village that occurred between Nov. 10-14.
Unauthorized Debit Card Use
- A resident at Whitby Court reported on Nov 11 that a person used her debit card information to make an unauthorized purchase.

- A Woods Avenue resident reported on Nov. 10 that a person used her name to open a debit card for unemployment benefits.
Fire
- A residential building on North Centre Avenue was evacuated after a resident reported at 7:28 on Nov. 10 that a towel caught fire from a candle and activated the sprinkler system.

- A motorist reported on Nov. 12 that her vehicle was damaged when it was parked near 77 N. Centre Avenue.
