On Feb. 6 at 8:02 a.m., a Broadway resident reported cash was stolen from her unlocked car while it was parked overnight.

On Feb. 9 at 8:58 a.m., a Hendrickson Avenue resident reported a briefcase and sunglasses were stolen from his unlocked car overnight.

Leaving the Scene of an Auto Accident

On Feb. 7 at 8:15 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while she was driving on Merrick Road.

On Feb. 9 at 3:44 p.m., a driver reported her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while she was driving on N. Long Beach Road.

Arrests

On Feb. 4 at 12:25 p.m., Victor Bravo, 36, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with second- and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with a suspended registration and other traffic offenses.

On Feb. 5 at 4:14 p.m., Angel H. Polanco, 34, of Bayshore, was arrested and charged with second- and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with a suspended registration and other traffic offenses.
