Welcome to Jurassic Talk

Explore the science behind Jurassic World, and the famous dinosaur movies with Dr. Ray Ann Havasy, and Mr. David Moscato.

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) is hosting an event in honor of the new Jurassic World movie.

Hear stories about what it was like to work behind the scenes with Mr. Steven Spielberg from Dr. Ray Ann Havasy, one of the advisers for the original Jurassic Park movie, and how she used props from the film to educate audiences about dinosaurs all over the world.

David Moscato, CSTL’s resident paleontologist, will offer his expertise to explain what is surprisingly true and undoubtedly impossible in dinosaur movies. Guests can ask all the questions they ever wanted to know about dinosaurs as David shares the science directly with them. David will also have cast replicas of fossils on hand to discuss.
