On Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m., an Oceanside resident reported that his 2016 Nissan Rogue was stolen from Municipal Parking Field 3 after he left it parked with the keys inside.

A resident reported being hit by a white SUV while she was walking in the street along North Village Avenue on Nov. 15 at 11:42 p.m., causing neck and back pain. The SUV left the scene on North Village Avenue without stopping.

On Nov. 14 at 10:51 a.m., a driver reported that as he was driving his car on N Long Beach Road, a delivery truck struck his car, causing damage, and left the scene without reporting.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle

On Nov. 15 at 11:23 a.m., an employee of Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Rockville Centre reported that a Long Beach man rented a car in September and still has not returned it, violating the rental agreement.

Larceny

On Nov. 13 at 10:20 a.m., a village resident reported that her Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a garage on Jefferson Avenue.

Arrests

On Nov. 11 at 12:28 p.m., Jose G Acuna, 67, of Copiague, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other vehicle and traffic law violations after police say he was stopped driving with a suspended driver license and vehicle registration on N. Forest Avenue.

On Nov. 11 at 9:06 p.m., Paul A Waight, 32, of Coram, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other vehicle and traffic law violations after police say he was found to be driving on Sunrise Highway with a suspended driver license, and wanted from Suffolk County Police on an open bench warrant.

On Nov. 13 at 1:12 p.m., Anthony P. Franco, 28, of Franklin Square, was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident after he hit and severed a fire hydrant from its base on N. Long Beach Road and left the scene, while illegally possessing Xanax pills and hypodermic needles.
